Welcome to Shady Canyon Golf Club as the invited guest of a Member.
We hope the below information proves useful when visiting the Club.

  • Golf Dress Code
    • All golf attire should be worn in good taste and with respect for the traditions of Golf. Proper footwear is required on Shady Canyon Golf Course and Practice Facilities at all times.

      Gentlemen – Collared, turtleneck or mock turtleneck shirts (must be tucked in at all times), sweaters, slacks, golf, tailored cargo shorts and Bermuda length are acceptable. Baggy Cargo shorts or Blue denim of any kind are not permitted on the Golf Course and/or any Practice Facility. T- shirts, tank tops, workout attire and swimwear are not allowed. Beach style flip-flops are not permitted on the Golf Course and Practice Facilities.

      Ladies – Skirts, skirts with leggings, slacks, sundresses, and golf shorts are acceptable. Shirts may be golf fashion collarless or sleeveless. Blue denim of any kind is not permitted on the Golf Course and or any Practice Facility. Cutoffs, halter-tops, workout attire, baggy cargo shorts, and swimwear are not permitted. Beach style flip-flops are not permitted on the Golf Course and Practice Facilities.

      The dress code standards of the Club may be changed or waived by Club management from time to time for special activities and functions.

  • Clubhouse Dress Code
    • The Club has adopted a dress code that will adapt to today’s more casual living but also is consistent with the expectations of dress at a fine private club.

      Gentlemen – Collared, turtleneck or mock turtleneck shirts, sweaters, slacks and golf or Bermuda length shorts are acceptable. T-shirts, tank tops, workout attire, baggy cargo shorts and swimwear are not allowed. Beach style flip-flops are not permitted in the Talon Dining Room. Gentlemen must remove hats in the Main Clubhouse. Jackets may be required for special events. Denim is acceptable when worn as slacks or Levis style slacks in good repair (no rips or tears), jackets and shirts that are tasteful.

      Clubhouse Dining Dress Code
      Appropriate Bermuda length shorts are permitted in the Talon Dining Room and Talon Bar during lunch hours. During evening dining, Bermuda shorts are not permitted in the Talon Dining Room but are permitted in the Talon Bar. Children under the age of 12 are excluded from this regulation and may wear appropriate shorts in the Dining Room during all hours of Club operation. Beach Style flip-flops are not permitted in the Talon Dining Room at any time. Denim is acceptable when worn as slacks or Levis style slacks in good repair (no rips or tears), jackets and shirts that are tasteful.

  • Wellness Center Dress Code
    • The Club has adopted a dress code that is respectful of a premier private club. Proper athletic attire must be worn at all times including shoes, shirts, shorts, or warm-ups. Swimwear and cut-offs are not permitted in workout areas. Tank-top styles must have high cut armholes. Muscle shirts are not permitted. The midriff must be covered at all times in the Wellness Center. All spandex/lycra tights must be at least as long as mid-thigh or be covered by another loose-fitting bottom. Denim is permitted when worn in good repair however no denim is allowed in the gym. Athletic style shoes are required in designated workout areas.

      No clothing other than appropriate swimwear may be worn in the swimming pools and spa.

  • Cellular Telephones and Personal Electronic Devices
    • Cell phones and other electronic devices should be in silent ring mode while in all areas of the Main Clubhouse and Wellness Center. All calls should be taken outdoors or into an area where others will not be disturbed. Discretion should be observed when using cellular telephones on the Golf Course or Driving Range. All cellular telephones used on the Golf Course must be in the silent ring mode at all times. No audible ring is permitted.

  • Tipping Guidelines
    • Shady Canyon Golf Club has a no tipping policy. Gratuity is suggested when engaging a caddie.
